Very slow One Step Update

Oct 29, 2010 4 Replies

This has been posted earlier but I don't see any clear answer:

One Step Update is very slow on many occasions in the last few weeks. The whole process normally finishes in under 30 seconds. But lately it's been several minutes, hanging at several points for up to a minute. When finally done, everything is correct, no error messages.

I download stock prices and allocations and three financial institutions' data. Internet connection is 20 Mb/s. Windows XP, Quicken 2010, IE8. No changes to Quicken or system in recent weeks.

Any version in particular?

Version of what? As I said, Quicken 2010.

It's Premier, R10, but that hasn't changed for months.

Sorry, apparently I wasn't paying attention.

Update: This week the OSU downloads seem to be back to normal, finishing in well under a minute, usually about 30 seconds or less. I haven't changed anything. I don't know the cause/resolution, but I hope it stays fixed.
