One Step Update Problems

Starting about 4 weeks ago, OSU in my QD 2010 has failed to find and download transactions from most of my financial institutions. I use Quicken Express Web Connect for this, and it his worked fine for years previously, up until about 4 weeks ago.

I can see transactions posted 3-4 days earlier at my FI when I go to my FI websites using Firefox. I can download them into Quicken using Firefox just a few minutes after Qkn shows nothing to download, and reports that the update was successful. OSU appears to be connecting to the FIs the same as before the problem started.

In several online "chats" with Qkn Help, they have had me disable and then re-enable OSU for these accounts. In the process of re-enabling, Qkn then downloads all the transactions I have seen at the FI using Firefox.

The problem is that future attempts to use OSU to download transactions from that account again fail to find the ones that are there.

Also when I use the Update Now command in Account Actions on the Account page, QD does not find/download transactions that show at that FI when using Firefox to look at them.

Does anyone have a guess as to why this is going on, and what might fix it?

There have been a number of different problems with Express Web Connect, many of them Intuit "script" problems.

There was a big fix implemented in the last 24 hours, which was expected to solve many (though not all) of those Express Web Connect problems.

I don't use Express Web Connect, so I can't provide any first hand comments, but one user in the Quicken Live Community reported that the fix cured the EWC problem(s) they'd been having for some time.

Marc, your problem is yet another reason why I won't let Quicken/Intuit anywhere near my live data.

John, this kind of sh*t, over the years, seems to happen OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Yet more reasons why I will NOT entrust Quicken/Intuit with transaction downloads.
