"Restore" function change of behavior?

Is it me? On Q/Win 10 V37.64. When I did a "restore" while in my active file from my manual backup, Q simply restored the backup file (including the version number and date stamp) into my active folder. I didn't get the option to override the existing open file.

So to use it, I had to close Q, delete the active, and then rename the restored backup (And synclog) file to the old active name. This is different behavior than in times past, right?

Ah ha! I did NOT select the backup file from my manual backups, it was from the automatic Quicken backup folder. When I used mine (correctly), I *did* get the option to restore the current as an override vs. simply create a copy. (And mine did NOT have the version number in the file name either as noted above).

Funny that the process to restore is different depending on 'who' took the backup?
