I get a monthly SS deposit on the 2nd Wed. of each month. There is a total amount, and 2 different deductions. This results in the amount deposited.

I see how to set up the social security transaction, but how do you get to "split" to input the various transactions?
When you create a recurring 'bill' (which can, in fact, be a deposit), the total window has the ability to split the deposit into the requisite pieces of your SS deposit.

I set it up as a paycheck... seems to work well.
