It there some sort of -non destructive undo and redo in Q 2006 Basic?
I see the "Back" on the far left of the toolbar. I inadvertently hit it 5 or 6 times!!!!! I believe it is a "destructive undo" and everything is lost. Was there a way to undo the previous action - of going "Back" - except to recheck and reenter every single transaction in every account that was altered?
My Help files are goofed up with either java or spam.

If you entered a new transaction, or modified an existing transaction, then clicked Enter; hitting the "back" button will not alter what you did; hitting "Enter" updates your data file, clicking Back does not undo that.
If you did not hit Enter before you clicked Back, you could use the Forward button to return to the screen and complete the change and click Enter. I hit Back 4 times then Forward 4 times and the new transaction I had been entering was still sitting there waiting for me to finish it.
John; I don't have a Forward button on my toolbar or menus that I could find??? I'm not even sure what Back does or is supposed to do.

"Back" and "Forward" in Quicken are similar to Back and Forward in your browser. They just take you back or foward to where you have been.
To place the Forward button on your Quicken toolbar:
Edit > Customize Toolbar > (check) Show all toolbar choices >
(locate/select) Forward > (click) Add
If you want Forward to be next to Back on the toolbar, use the "Move up" button.
So these two commands will not alter any entries - it is a view only as in the browser? No danger . What if one makes a change(s) to a transactions?
