I have been using quicken since quicken 6 with MS dos.
I am currently at quicken 99.
I don't particularly like doing my bills etc. But what I dislike the most is entering stuff and then having to reconcile it with my bank. I have only caught a few errors with my bank. Currently useless bank, so I always wonder to myself if reconciling every month is worth it. I have a lot of stuff going through my Citibank card so I only have to pay about 2 or 3 on line electronic fund transfers and a couple of checks each month for my kids tuition which will never be electronic.
Can quicken 2006 download both my Citibank and my useless bank statements so I don't have to enter them? That would be kind of handy.
I want to concentrate on things like, Oh I spent this much on X this month. I had better cut back. I want to grow my retirement from 65K to whatever I'll need in 30 years.
