Vanguard Windsor & Quicken

I've had Vanguard Windsor forever, and recently, there was another large LT cap gains payout with a corresponding drop in the NAV. sh $0.614 + lt $6.184 + div $0.513 = $7.31/sh

In reviewing my Quicken portfolio view of "recent performance", I can't make heads or tails of matching what Quicken says vs Vanguard reality :)

BTW - This year I had sold $10k, but had a LT cap reinv of $18k.

Vanguard Midcap - VIMSX - Quicken 2.7% vs Vanguard 6.0% Vanguard Total Index - VTSAX - Quicken 2.2% vs Vanguard 5.5% Vanguard Windsor - VWNEX - Quicken -17.0% vs Vanguard -3.0%

I also had this Capital Gain and Dividend return. I download from Vanguard and it looks like Quicken put in the proper entries in the account register. The only problem is that now, whereas Return % only showed a .78% loss (I just recently bought into the fund) prior to this distribution, now it shows over 8% loss because of the decrease in share price, ie no adjustment was made for capital gains and dividends received.

Can anyone tell me how to correct this??

Thanks,

Bill

I go thru this every time I look in detail at the Quicken portfolio Value & Recent History display... It really confuses me, and then I start to dig into it, get more confused, and give up :)
