Many of my clients over the years have asked me to fill out a W9 for them. As I plan to change my business address, does it matter that their W9 is out of date? When paying my bills do they send the check to what's on the bill, or do they send check to what they have on file?
Change of business address and W9 ?

The W-9 should serve to tell clients what goes on their 1099.
Your invoice should have the address to which checks sould be mailed.
But if you really want to cover yourself, complete the W-9 with current address and attach a note to it saying as of New Date your address is changing to New Address.
