But I live in New York and have an R on the end of mine. But it's upstate NY, where we do have cows and ducks and stuff like that, so maybe I'm an honorary southerner.

All the CAF numbers I have seen, have it, why it's there, I'm not sure... Have to dig out the ADP books & see what it says.

No, only I was born there. A long way from being FFV.

My dad was in the Army during WWII and stationed at Norfolk. But his generation came from Brooklyn, NY. Wait, could it be because my paternal grandparents came from what was then *R*ussia? (and is now Poland).
