Need your $.02 worth (literally) on this IRS issue

After recently satisfying a 2009 underpayment notice from the IRS, we received a refund check for $16.31 due to their recalculation of the interest owed. However, the documentation of this refund came a few days later and indicated that the refund would be $16.29. Does anything need to be done about this, or should I just cash the check?

Just cash it. Also, the $16.31 will most likely not be taxable, because it is a refund of interest which you probably did not deduct on your tax return.
