I have a dispute, value approx 200, arising from almost 12 months ago with the Alliance & Leicester. I referred it to the FOS but just constantly get holding letters from them saying they are extremely busy.
In the meantime A&L have been taken over by Santander. Does this affect my rights to take it to the Small Claims Court?
Don't hold your breath but the finishing post may be in sight .My complaint about the Abbey not paying me enough compen also took 12-13 months from the time it was submitted to the FOS .I also got regular letters saying they were sorry for the delay but were very busy .
No. It is still the same company, just a different shareholder.
No, it won't, but is it really worth it for 200? You might lose and then be faced with costs. The FOS might find in your favour (eventually) and even if they don't it won't cost you.
