Six years from "settlement" i.e. when the account is paid off.

What about if it hasn't been paid off?

If the company is convinced payment will not be forthcoming they will mark the account as "default" and then it will show for six years from the date of default.

If you are concerned about your own record and you're not just asking for interest then I'd recommend you get a copy of your record from all three companies. Make sure you only pay GBP 2 for each one. There is a lot on their websites which indicated you need to pay more or subscribe which you don't. Feel free to come back to me if you want more information about how to do this.
