Bankers drafts and overdrafts

Is it possible to get a bankers draft in an amount that will make me overdrawn? (But not over my limit.) I'm with Barclays.

Can you get cash out, up to your overdraft limit? Of course. Therefore you could buy the draft with the cash.

You can have a draft for any amount as long as there are funds or a facility on the account to permit it - so yes, you can. When the draft is issued the corresponding amount is immediately debited from your account!

IIRC, when I was in banking, the customer's account was debited first. :)
