Bankruptcy - forgotten creditors

What happens if I file for bankruptcy but forget to put a couple of creditors on my form?

Im pretty certain it means they can still ask for what you owe. Call your contact at the insolvency service. What i do know is that even if you dont give the exact figure of what you owe a creditor the whole debt is part of the the bankruptcy.

In mine a couple of creditors escaped the list. All this meant was that the reciever did not automatically write to them. When they came out of the woodwork, they were pointed to the receiver and joined the fold. I'd hazard that since the bankrupcy is advertised the creditors should have seen it and not had to be advised?

I think where there are absolutely no assets to share out, this would be acceptable and normal.

Where I guess it could get nasty is if say 4 creditors are getting 25p in the pound and another turns up later - then all should have got 20p in the pound and there will be fights over the redistribution.
