If you earn circa £100Kpa or have £50K to invest/save they have a premier service - this includes access to a so called high interest account. Details on their website.
One of the best flexible savings accounts I saw recently was a Halifax websaver account. Details on their website.
So like me you might find the Halifax option attractive?
OK, Barclays have some form of high interest account. It can be linked to their "one account" system making movements to and from current accounts easy. They have an e-savings account which might be of use to you. Pays about 4.33 per annum gross.

the age old trap banks want you to fall into. Forget loyalty - shop around for the best offer. Banks thrive on people not taking the time to look elsewhere hence all the student deals - stats show most people choose a bank and stick with it for current accounts, savings, stocks, ISAS etc etc and they hook people in early. I'm not saying dismiss it just make sure you consider more options.
Shop around. It may take a little longer to set up the account (more security checks etc as your unknown) but its the only way to get the best deal.
Nationwide Flex Account, and e-savings that pays 5% gross, is what I have at the moment. Also with Barclays, and their interest rates are very poor IMO.
