Best Life Insurance places

Feb 08, 2004 9 Replies

Looking at getting life insurance - for 31 year old couple - non smokers - say over a 15 year period for £150 - £200K.

So far Tesco's and DIrect line come the cheapest and not too far apart from each other.

Is there any cheaper alternatives?

Scott

Probably because they are both Direct Line.

Really? Tesco insurance is underwritten by UK Insurance Ltd, not Direct Line Insurance plc.

Do it through Torquil Clark. 50% cashback on your commision

So is Natwest, which is part of the same Royal Bank of Scotland Group as Direct Line.

You may notice that their website looks very similar to Direct Line's. And if you look closer, you may see that that's because it is Direct Line's.

Sorry - Tesco Life Insurance is actually provided by Norwich Union. Still not Direct Line though.

Tesco life policy is underwritten by Norwich Union.

Yes, I know.

Norwich Union Direct is pretty good- if you know what you want and dont need advice.

Dunno but try as they publish charts in their adverts claiming they offer lower premiums than the big brands.
