Best method of changing £'s to euro's

Hi, I hope someone can give me some advice, we are buying a house in Ireland, and will need to transfer about £150k, how can we get the best exchange rate?

Do you mean immediately, or are you prepared to wait for the euro:£ rate to drop?

Well, in the next couple of months, if all goes well. I really meant, which is the best institution to use, bank,Post Office or currency exchange dealers.
