Can I put these private items through my business?

There must be a number of things you can buy for "your business" but which might be useful for private use. E.g. you could buy an iPod and claim you use it for training yourself with business audio's.

Here is a small list I can think of:

  1. Cappucinno machine for staff
  2. iPod for training
  3. PDA
  4. Good phone system (if you work at home)
  5. Digital camera - you take pictures for your website, yes?
  6. Digital camcorder - same as 5.

What other items could you add to this list?

Thanks,

Jon

Christmas Cards

Food (staff canteen)

Furniture (offices and staff rest room)

Bed (for 24 hour working)

Lawnmower (To maintain the grass in the garden, er, sorry, I meant "Staff recreation area')

Booze (staff party)

Clothing (staff uniforms and to ensure equality on 'dressing down days' which are Monday to Friday.)

I like it. Managers can give their underlings a dressing down any day of the week. But it has precious little to do with clothing unless it involves their sexretaries.

Isn't there a limit of about £100 per employee?
