Claiming travelling expenses for travel to out other head office.

I work in my firms London head office, but occationally need to travel to our other head office in Bracknell, when I do this my firm allows me to claim 40p/mile expenses for using my own car.

At the moment this travelling to our other head office is on an adhoc basis, but in future is likely to become a once-a-week thing.

The question is, am I still allowed (as far as the Inland Revenue are concerned) to claim my travel expenses? Or by traveling there weekly has it become a 'normal place of work'?

...baring in mind I work 4 days a week in London and cant claim a refund from the train company for the one day a week train travel I dont use (ie traveling to Bracknell does genuinly leave me out of pocket)

Thanks

AIUI you should be OK as you spend less than 40% of your working time there.
