ING Complaint - Head Office

Jul 21, 2008 3 Replies

I have an ongoing complaint with ING; it was my intention to send a letter before action to the Company Secretary.

Having looked on Companies House Website I was surprised that they have no entry whatsoever.

I know that they are a Dutch Bank - but I assume that they do not have to have an officially "registered" UK address.

Is this the case?

To whom should formal/legal communications be sent?

(I will send it to "The Company Secretary" at their Reading Office)

No - look up number BR007357 (assuming it's ING Direct you're talking about). The Reading address appears to be the correct one.

If they are EEA authorised they can be registered and regulated in another EC country which authorises them in the UK. Have a look at the FSA register

Typing in 'ING' gives several reponses - if it's ING Bank BV then there is a Netherlands address - clicking on 'ING Bank BV' comes up with a page with a London address.

Spot on - many thanks.

Interesting that I put ING in to the company name and it didn't show that entry - it just showed ING Ltd - nothing to do with them

When I put in ING Direct - there are any number of associated companies.

I had previously thought the search on Company name was very good with limited information - I will try and be more precise in the future ;-)

Cheers
