After hearing a guest 'expert' on BBCs Moneybox state that the yield (no proviso) on Sainsburys was 5.5% a couple of weeks ago, they have responded to my complaint by saying that quoting the historic yield in a discussion on income producing investments was neither a mistake or inaccurate.
I wondered if I could quickly knock this argument on the head by referring to the Financial Times figure, but don't know what they quote.
Could someone who has a copy let me know ?
Thanks
