Brainbench is a provider of high-quality, secure, online, certification tests using computer adaptive testing (CAT). We provide skill-based tests that measure a person's core knowledge in a specific field. I am currently creating a Financial Accounting (UK) test.
I am looking to hire a total of 5 Subject Matter Experts in the field of UK Financial Accounting. This is NOT full time contract work. The total time commitment is approx. 40-50 hours (over the 7-8 weeks), and the work can be completed on your own time, and can be done remotely (over the internet).
1 Developer: This person will create an outline, and develop 150 questions, with answers, based on that outline. The Developer will make a minimum of $1500.00 for the completed test with a possible bonus of up to $200 for timely and thorough completion of the work.4 Validators: These peopole will go through the outline created by the developer and the final test items, and comment on suitability of questions/difficulty levels etc. It is not a very time intensive task, only a few hours. Validators will make $300.00 per completed test.
This test will be developed to measure someone's ability in Financial Accounting, knowledge and skill of UK financial accounting rules and procedures. It should demonstrate that they have the skills necessary to proficiently use a full range of skills (from beginner to advanced) within this subject. The focus should be on the most commonly used skills and avoid extreme, rarely used skills that are not considered mainstream to the knowledge area. Less widely used skill areas may be included, but should be limited.
