Foolishly (not in the Motley Fool sense!) I transferred a largish sum from an external savings account to an ING account. Unfortunately, for me, the ING account was no longer open. (I'd told them to close it in a fit of pique over their rotten service, although some weeks later it was still available online, the DD was still in place and it appeared active.).
To get my money back into the Cahoot account that it started from will take 10 days!!! In the meantime: Where is it? Who's taking the interest?
It goes without saying that I think they're all a load of Bankers!
Do ING know the meaning of the term CUSTOMER SERVICE?
My advice is to avoid them like the plague.
