I have received an email purporting to originate from .comdirect. It looks quite suspicious, to me. Anyone else had one?

Yes... by brother got one.
I haven't yet.. though on the other hand, I got a "Annal Statement Pack" from them last week and my brother hasn't yet..
Perhaps, they just don't believe we have the same mailing address ?:)
Pretty sure this is not genuine.
Comdirect have confirmed that it is a genuine e-mail and is being sent to selected customers.
In their words: "Not all customers, but all those that are affected by the more rigorous money laundering legislation, particularly relating to address verification"

They are talking rubbish! The rules application usually relates to the amount involved not where you live in the UK.
