This was never out of the news 12 months ago,together with subprime, short selling. Now there is nothing at all mentioned on Bloomberg TV, or the financial pages. It is as though it never happened.

There's been a lot of unraveling of CDS's going on at AIG and elsewhere. The thing is that arcane accounting doesn't really make for a good news bulletin in the way that "Boy Kidnapped By Balloon" does.
