Credit File Searches

Hi,



I just got my Credit file though the post and I was just wodering how long searches stay on my file for and does it affect my crdit rateing?

Maybe. There's no more specific answer as it depends entirely on the company to which you apply for credit.

Total rubbish, usually upto 12 months.

Its completely free and confidential and is supported completely by a couple of ads you'll see. It doesn't communicate with Equifax (as that would cost money) but thats okay for you because you have your credit file results. All I ask is that if you decide to get another credit card, please check out the American Express one I have advertised :)
