Hi

What is the cheapest way to convert 50 Euros into British pounds? I thought of paying into my current account or taking it into a bank and asking them to change it? Maybe paying for something in a shop that accepts Euros?

Can anyone advise?

Thanks

Swap them with a friend? But if you are going to Euroland anytime in the next year or three, keeping them is probably the best idea. Otherwise you'll lose maybe 5-10% on the exchange when you turn them into sterling, and then

5-10% again when you turn that sterling back into euros next time you go.
