ELDERLY FATHER - HOW MUCH IS HE WORTH TO YOU ?

Hi

I have an elderly father who lives alone in a house which is now worth

500k. I am his only living relative. He has a younger woman girlfriend but he tells me has no intention of getting married to her. How can I be sure he leaves me the house in his will ? What if he leaves everything to her ? Should I force him to write a new will and then poison him ?

TIA

For how long are you wanting to go to prison??

The trick is to make it look like she did it. Then she'll automatically be disinherited.

I have no intention of going to prison. I love my father but if he tries to give the house to her I will have to do the old bastard in . I have no where else to go as I am virtually homeless at the moment. She would just sell it and give me nothing as she hates me. Maybe I should do away with her instead and then he'd have to give it to me.

What makes you feel that *you* *should* inherit the house??

You are greedy and selfish, with the morals of a jackal.

im his only living relative. she is just a gold-digger. she is 20 years younger than him. isnt it traditional that the surviving son gets the inheritance. the selfish old bastard doesnt seem to appreciate the things i do for him. i visit 3 or 4 times a week and stay over at least twice. I keep offering to move in to help him out and he keeps refusing me. keeps giving me somoe bollocks about wanting his own space. he is nearly 80 for gods sake. he shouldnt be carrying on the way he is at his age. he wont tell me what he has put in his will. is there no way i can force him to tell me what is in it ? i heard him laughing out loud to himself last night which is something he never used to do. he blames me for killing our mother. christ i was only 10 at the time.

Either these posts from you are a cruel sad joke, or you are a cruel sad joke of a person.

I'm beginning to think the former. I hope it is not the latter.

No, you'll end up paying too much IHT.

Get him to marry her, then get him to write a will leaving the equivalent of the Nil Rate Band to a trust of which you are the ultimate beneficiary but leaving all actual assets to her, but allowing the trust to accept an IOU from her in lieu of the NRB bequest, then poison him, then fraudulently draw up her will leaving everything to you, then poison her. This will save you £263000 x 40% in IHT (if you kill him this tax year). You cannot offset the cost of the poison unless you hide them under 'executor's expenses'.
