FSA £25000 guarantee ?

Would anyone know if the FSA's guarantee of the first £35,000 in respect of an individual's bank accounts applies to adult accounts only or does it cover children's savings account with a bank?

Assuming you mean the FSCS scheme, it covers children and adults alike; age makes no difference.
http://fsahandbook.info/FSA/html/handbook/COMP/4/2 gives some details as to who is and is not covered.
http://www.fscs.org.uk/consumer/how_to_claim/deposits/ gives general information as to how to claim against a deposit account.

Thanks Mouse,
I'd searched for ages for a site like that. ;)
