House prices below 2001 levels?

Natash Kablinski's house in Hammersmith, W London, bought in 2001 for £690,000, on the market last year for £775,900, sold in the last few days for £680,000 (Evening Standard 6th July 2005). Housing sales in London are down 35% compared with last year says the same article.
