Just looking to switch my House+Contents insurance from the Halifax to someone a bit cheaper.. Of course, their valuation doesn't bother to contain my house rebuild cost, so after trawling this newsgroup for solutions, I found the

websites (thanks! this really is a very useful NG!).My question is: are these rebuild calculators and tables reliable? Has anybody out there used them and found them wildly inaccurate? (Sorry for the lack of faith, just need a thumbs-up :)
