I have just logged in to my accounts - the interest has been calculated up to 10 October and added to the account (rather than at the end of the month).
I guess that this is the amount which will be refunded.

Yes - just checked my account also and, as with yours, interest has been added up to 10th October. Hopefully we will soon hear from the FSCS and will be able to transfer our money out.

"On 24 October 2008, Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) announced that retail depositors with savings in Icesave will get back their savings through an accelerated process. Looks like adding this interest is the first step... hopefully they'll open up for transfers out very soon.
The latest update posted on the FSCS web site yesterday says emails will be sent out this week explaining how the refunds will be made. Further emails will be going out next week giving specific instructions on what needs to be done to transfer the funds.

Just checked my account. Interest that was due on 9/10/08 was added then. Now there is a new entry, dated 10/10/08. Some of the interest credited on 9/10/08 has been taken back!
Well I cannot log in 4/11/08 as the page has been replaced with a new notice tonight re payment procedure. Plus I have had the mentioned email titled FSCS Managed Payout for Icesave Customers.

AIUI, no-one will be able to log-in from hereon in until such time they get the second e-mail telling them it's their turn to arrange the transfer.
