No. If you bought the original item with your Barclaycard, then all the perks remain, no matter how the balance was eventually paid off. It is of no matter to them whether you cleared it with funds from your bank or anybody elses.

you use a Barclaycard?
I certainly do when purchasing any electrical goods - the free extended warranty for a year swinging it for me personally.

careful with the word 'any' there; I got a Barclaycard specifically for that reason. Sky+ ...not eligible. New Computer ...wouldnt be eligible Palm Pilot...wouldnt be eligible
Luckily I checked out the latter two after the Sky+ and before purchasing, so bought them on cards with other benefits.
I've just bought a new HiFi that had a 2-year warrantee (plus almost no moving parts)and have gone for the air miles instead.
Yes sorry should be careful before using words like any - I've purchased a fridge/freezer, washing machine and MiniDisc walkman all of which qualified for the extra years free warranty. The washing machine also qualified for Price Promise as I had to buy it in an emergency from the local Currys store and later found it was cheaper online (QED-electrical I believe) so managed to suceesfully claim a 35 refund from Barclaycard under their Price Promise scheme - very useful.

Theyre pretty good at sorting issues with faulty goods as well!
