No chance - if there was choice then I dont think anyone would pay it to the government. You can make donations from pre-tax earnings though - many employers have a Give as you earn scheme...
Well ... check out Gift Aid ... such amounts reduce your taxable income .... and permit the recipient charity/charities to reclaim income tax.
Yes. But there is slight catch, you have to pay all your taxable income to the charity too.
£128.20 (IE £128.20 less 22% = £100) £23.08 (IE £128.20 x 40% = £51.28 less BR tax £28.20 = £23.08)
