Maybe there is a reason for that?

Yes perhaps there is , but the property is made up of 4 bedsits and 1 flat at this moment in time, subject to viewing the property , my guess is in the medium term it might be worth converting the 3 storey house into 3 flats , based on the propertys layout , but currently its 4 bedsits and 1 flat...............

But are you buying it on the existing basis, or have you told them you intend to convert?

I've not been and seen the property yet , so i'm not sure of its layout , but it might be worth mentioning to them if its a sticking point , i was considering using UCB home loans for the buy to let , i've used them before , but will have to check the small print for Bedsits .
