Psychologists at the University of Peckham have made significant advances in the theory of how people relate to intellectual stimuli present in their environment. Prof Trotter, head of their research team, explained to our man on the fence that they had discovered a new method to help them accurately quantify the extent of a person's apathy towards any particular subject matter through a series of simple tests. There is evidence to support the existence of an underlying predisposition to apathy, which has been dubbed "force of disinterest".
