Of course you could sue him, but he could then give you notice as well and he doesn't have to give you any reasons for it.

Since you are catching the train from Reading to somewhere else anyway, why not move further out of london/away from Reading (= cheaper) and commute in to 'somewhere else' from there? You could also buy a small scooter and live further from a train station (= generally cheaper)

I doubt it. You are looking at £1/4m minimum for something reasonable in Reading. It costs more to rent in Reading than in many parts of London.

They will be in areas suffering from subsidence where you won't be able to insure them, or probably get any sort of mortgage. They will also have major structural defects.
