NS&I rate increases wef 26 Oct 2006

So, a sure fire bet that the BoE *is* going to increase base rates in November. That will come as a nice little christmas present for over stretched mortgage payers. Lets get Christmas out of the way, and I see reposessions increasing around April to July next year as more and more go into arrears trying to pay for the increased mortgage, Christmas bought on the never never, and probably the holidays that gets advertised around Boxing Day.
