Anyone else find the fact that Rover went belly up as soon as the new Pension Protection Fund was launched a bloody big "coincidence"? - or am I just paranoid? And with such a big call on the fund will it be able to cope - or will the fund fail before too long?

rotfl! you're more a cynic than I am; I'd missed that one !
In terms of demand on the PPF it only pays out when people reach there selected retirement date, and if the Rover fund proves to be insufficient, so it will be a gradual effect.
