For the first time in my life I've got to say 2 Jags is correct. As an aside IIRC John Prescott is qualified economist and Gordon Brown isn't...

It's just a pity that he doesn't seem to understand why they are too high. (He seems to think that it's the cost of the raw materials)

What's a qualifed economist? Which body regulates this profession? and how/where did F2J get his qualification?

not sure if there's a guild of economists. I'd reckon if you've a degree in Chemistry, then you can call yourself a chemist - 2 Jags has a degree in economics from Hull Uni..

You may find the housing market and the economic situation boring but plenty don't. And if you're really not interested then why bother looking at the thread ? Just go and play somewhere else eh there's a good lad.
