Why? I have done already.
It's obvious the whole thread is about UK cards -- after all, the Subject is "Questions for UK citizens using a Debit or Credit card", and it's in a UK newsgroup!!
I've never seen such a card.
The nearest I've seen to that is HSBC, where if you have a current account and a linked deposit account, you can transfer money between the accounts at an HSBC machine using either card before withdrawing it.
So do mine, but whichever option you chose, the money comes out the same account.
DUH! My question was already answered.
I was responding to Daytona question not to you to begin with.
I'm not sure if any banks issue them in the UK, but in many countries a credit card can also be encoded with details of your other bank accounts.
I have a credit card issued by HSBC in Hong Kong which has my current and savings accounts encoded into it as well. If I use the card in an ATM machine to withdraw cash I am offered the option of the amount being debited to my current, savings or credit card account.

Well of course; the difference is the network the transaction is sent over which, unless they're charged differently, is completely transparent to the cardholder.

Barclaycard's OnePulse does just that. In this case, there's no choice of which account is used because that decision is taken by the terminal.

You do not have the Mastercard debit yet. Mainly because you use the Maestro debit card.
