Is your father a Freemason?

Nope!

That's what I thought.

No plus they wouldn't go to that extent for somone who is not a Freemason.

My father-in-law is a Freemason but he disrespects my father enough to not do him any favours (pitch forks have been mentioned).

But they *would* for somebody who was, then?

Ignore that comment; I am being rather mischievous (sp?) here, but there are others in uk.legal who are really into those types of conspiracy theory. See some of Roger's posts of VOMIT's newsletter...

Anyway, Good Luck! Please let us know what the bank says. Don't threaten them with anything yet, because they are likely to go into "shutdown".

I had a similar security issue with Citibank a few years ago. For some mysterious reason they suddenly started sending my bank statements to a property which I owned, but had never lived in, and was rented to a tenant. I've no idea how they got hold of the address, and they either couldn't or wouldn't tell me. After I complained about the breach of confidentiality they agreed to give me £100 in compensation.
