repossesed property

I have just been told about a property that has been repossesed by the Royal Bank of Scotland. There was a nottice at the house giving contact details. By the time I went to look for myself (only 2 days later) the nottice had been taken down. Is it best to ring head office to find out details or is there a better place to find it. I am interested in buying the property which is in a bad state to do uo and rent/sell.

The chances are that a "for sale" board will appear soon with details of the auction and/or estate agent. Of course you should try the head office first if you are really keen on the property, but don't be too keen. As every man and his dog is renovating properties these days, there aren't as many bargains as there used to be.

Halifax sell their repossessions themselves but RBS put the sales in agents' hands.
