Sell My Endowment Policy?

I've had a low-cost with-profits endowment with Standard Life running for 14 years and it has 11 years to go. It's done poorly, as I'm sure you've guessed and is worth about £11,500.

Is it worth auctioning this and reinvesting?

What I don't understand is why these companies would want to buy these damn awful policies anyway. Do they know something we don't?

These policies are being bought on the open market in anticipation of a large terminal bonus payout on maturity.

If you would like to submit details of your policy on

I should be pleased to give you a current valuation.
