Selling shares on high street

Hi

Have about 8000 of shares in RBoS and wish to sell. I hav ethe certificate. DO I just go into a bank in the high street and sell or best to try and trade online.

Never sold before and these shares were part of my package at RBoS until I left. Previousley I could sell through Computershare in one phone call

certificate.

If you have the certificates then you can't trade on line. Try ringing Jarvis stockbrokers on 01892 510515. They do a pretty good deal for certificated shares.

I walked in to my local NatWest with some I.D. and the share certificates. They charged less than 1% IIRC. they brought the price up on the screen and I had 15 seconds to decide yes or no.

they were very pleasant to deal with.

Most (larger) PLCs often offer a cheap (often postal) dealing service for their shareholders, usually through the Registrars. Check the back of the Annual Report.
