X-No-Archive: yes

A couple of years ago I was doing a hobby and the hobby grew and made more and more cash.

I made a fair bit of cash but havent paid tax for 3 years.

Can anyone advise what I do ? I was unemplyed before I do my current job.. although things have started to tail off and Im not making much money any more.

Contact your tax office.

I did this too, was making some "hobby" money for 3 years which ended up being quite a lot and I was well aware that tax was due on it.

Started getting paranoid etc.

Phoned them up, asked if I should be paying tax. Yes they said and were nice about it. Sent me 3 tax returns for each relevant year. Had to pay a £100 late surcharge on 2 of them + the interest but no hassle apart from that.

I now sleep well.
