Hi, if you been notified of an overpayment and have claimed repayment.., how long generally is it until you receive payment

Depends what you mean by "notified".

If you accountant tells you or someone at HMRC in a phone call it can still take a while.

If you get a document from HMRC it should be within a few days.

I got a small refund 2 years back, when i was doing two jobs- that came out of the blue by cheque, with the notice/calculation..

I did my tax return online, they calculated an overpayment, and I received payment 5 days later!
