What does everybody else thing about Telefonica legally claiming the entire share capital of 02; it is their right. However I am feeling a little bit bullied into giving up my shares too easily and I am looking for some advice. Does anybody else think it is worth exercising their right under section 430C of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended) to make application not to give up their shares. I suppose we don't stand much chance.
Any Advice would be greatly appreciated.
You are being too emotive.
Shares are an investment. Whilst you might, in theory own 'a little bit' of the company is this really why you bought them?
Just take the deal and move on.
Why not just put the shares in the shreader, it will be cheaper.
