Trollbots from financebanter?

Hmm, in recent days, a number of threads have been started or posted to by entities all posting from financebanter.co.uk addresses.

What a remarkable coincidence that they all have the same email domain and are all showing an interest in financial matters at just this point in time. Why, if I didn't know better, I'd think that somebody had set up a web forum and was leeching uk.finance usenet posts into it (badly, given that some of the entities appear to have difficulty seeing follow-ups)..

And I'm not entirely convinced that all of the financebanter entities are actually human. Why, if I were a cynical person, I might think that some of their almost entirely content-free contributions were actually auto-generated by some kind of low-budget Eliza knock-off, in order to make "their" forum look busy..

(Or perhaps the forum admin has enslaved a barely-sentient friend to do their troll-work for them, it's hard to tell)

A domain for your killfiles? Judge for yourselves:

Yes you are right about it. The recent market changes certainly makes one to think such things. lets see how others respond to it.

I've thought along similar lines, but the odd one or two posts gave me pause. I'm sure there's something dodgy about it. Let's see if we get a response.
