I'm looking (and have been for some while) for a decent MULTI-CURRENCY accounting package suitable for a couple of SOHO businesses - and I'd like it to support two concurrent users.
Currently I use TAS software - but they don't support multi-currency accounting (just handling purchase invoices received in foreign currency etc.).
I need to support pound and euro bank accounts, credit card and cash/expense accounts. I need to have HMRC compliant software (eg. certified VAT compliant) I need to have automated currency conversion of transactions, and keep exchange rate histories, so that I can enter/change transactions and know that they will pick up the correct (by date) exchange rate.
I have found only two SOHO packages: Artemis and Intuit Quickbooks Pro.
I have tried Artemis and felt that the problems arising from its treatment of multi-currency outweighed the benefit gained.
I have also read reviews of Intuit's Quickbooks Pro - but it seems that there are some loose ends in its conversion/reconciliation processing.
Does anyone know of any other suitable SOHO multi-currency accounting packages?
